Japanese Shaku Dokei or Pillar Clock with Namagata Dial, the glazed hood over the trunk with brass Namagata dial of thirteen columns with a scale to show the changing hours read against a descending arm attached to the weight, key drawer in the base, the movement with floral-engraved front plate and turned columns at the corners, with verge escapement regulated by a balance wheel, ht. 15 1/2 in.
