Sauer & Sohn Rook Rifle, c. late 19th century, serial number 187692, .32 Winchester caliber, walnut stock with checkered wrist and forend, frame lightly engraved with foliate designs, marked on the top of the barrel "J.P. SAUER & SOHN, SUHL.," and near the breech "TELL IV. 32 WINCH. CENTR.," barrel lg. 25 1/2, overall lg. 42 in.

Some wood loss on the under side of the hand guard near the receiver, barrel retains most of the finish, and the bore looks clean and bright.
