John Rigby & Company Double-barrel Hammer Rifle, c. early 1870s, serial number 13741, approx. .37 caliber, walnut stock with cheek-piece and checkered forend and grip, lockplates and frame with floral scroll engraving, lockplates marked "Jno Rigby & Co.," blued barrels with textured rib marked "John Rigby & Co. Dublin & London," overall lg. 42 1/4 in.
