John Dickson & Son 12 Gauge Shotgun, c. 1889, serial number 4116, walnut stock with checkered wrist and forend, frame engraved with foliate designs and marked "JOHN DICKSON & SON PATENT" in a banner, blued and engraved trigger guard, marked on the rib "JOHN DICKSON & SON 63 PRINCES STREET EDINBURGH," barrel lg. 27, overall lg. 43 1/2 in.

Stock has a butt extension added, only very small amounts of blueing loss on the barrels near the muzzle. Sleeved barrels.
