John Dickson & Son .410 Single-barrel Shotgun Converted from a Rook Rifle, c. late 19th century, serial number 36951, walnut stock with checkered wrist and forend, frame lightly engraved with foliate designs, marked on the top of the barrel "J. DICKSON & SON. EDINBUGH," barrel lg. 26, overall lg. 41 3/4 in.

Provenance: Vintage Doubles LLC, Wenatchee, Washington, July 15, 2014.
Estimate $1,500-2,000

Stock has some light wear and a few dings, some color case hardening remains on the receiver, and the blueing on the barrel is intact with only light wear.
