LIBERTY TRIUMPHANT or the Downfall of OPPRESSION, Henry Dawkin, New York or Philadelphia, c. 1774, engraving on laid paper, image depicts New England colonists' reaction to the British tea tax posed over a map of the northern and mid-Atlantic colonies, ht. 9 5/8, wd. 13 1/8 in.

Trimmed to the edge of the image and laid down on old brown paper. Page has horizontal and vertical folds with some splits and losses, the lower right corner has losses, tear at lower left corner, scattered flyspeck stains.
