Sauer & Son Single-barrel Hammer Gun, c. 1891, serial number 39851, 11.15 x 60mm caliber, walnut stock with checkered forend and grip, the butt with covered shell holder, lock and frame with floral scroll engraving, the lockplate engraved "J.P. SAUER & SOHN SUHL," top of barrel with folding leaf sight and textured flat engraved with the same, set trigger, steel and horn trigger guard, overall lg. 43 1/2 in.
