Smith No. 5 Grade 12 Gauge Double-barrel Shotgun, early 20th century, serial number 2452, walnut stock with checkered forend and grip, case hardened frame finely engraved with floral scroll design, the left plate engraved with a pair of pointers in a field scene inside an oval, the right plate engraved with a pair of hounds in a field scene inside an oval, both plates marked "L.C. SMITH" on a ribbon, blued barrels with textured rib marked "MADE TO ORDER BY THE HUNTER ARMS CO. FULTON, N.Y.," overall lg. 48 1/8 in.
