Louis XIV Tapestry-covered Carved Armchair, 18th century with later components, arched back, trapezoidal seat, curved covered arm supports, X-form stretcher with cabriole legs terminating in pied a biche feet, later Aubusson-style verde covering and springs added, ht. 45 1/2, wd. 27, dp. 29 in.

Some wear to surfaces overall, nicks. abrasions, age-typical wear. Later springs under seat, insect damage throughout, wear to the feet, the lower inch to the hoof feet are replaced, a repair to the stretchers and a brace to the underside.
