Attributed on an antique gummed label and on a fragmentary printed label affixed to the reverse, red wax seal on the reverse.
Oil on partially cradled arched panel, 16 3/8 x 6 3/8 in. (41.3 x 16.2 cm),unframed.
Condition: Retouch, hairline cracks to panel, losses and wear to edges of panel, fine craquelure, varnish discoloration, surface grime.

The red wax seal was not found in Lugt online. The stamp is round or oval, measures 2.2 cm high, and shows a small rampant lion above a shield.
