Description:

Porcelain Dog Perfume Bottle, possibly England, early 19th century, white ground, pug-like form with black face, hinged collar, resting on a domed base with painted flowers, ht. 2 5/8, later glass cloche and stand, ht. 4 1/2 in.
Estimate $400-600

Nicks/small chips to painted surfaces of ears and tail. Wear on gilded base, accretion around collar of head.
