George III Sterling Silver Cake Basket, London, 1787-88, Henry Chawner, maker, oval form with a bail handle and reticulated rim engraved with pendant floral swags, lg. 13 1/8 in., approx. 24.1 troy oz.

Handle unmarked, one side possibly re-soldered, Scattered small breaks and restorations to reticulated rim (all fairly unobtrusive overall, see images) and light surface wear abrasions to center.
