Meissen Porcelain Stand, Germany, late 19th century, white ground with overall polychrome floral motif and gilt accents, serpentine top with conforming frieze, scrolling feet at corners topped with applied flowers, ht. 3 1/4, wd. 12, dp. 12 in.
Provenance: Property of the Saint Louis Art Museum; sold to benefit the acquisition fund.
Scattered chips and losses on flower petals. Overall some surface wear. Base and foot with splits/cleavage (see photos)
