Biedermeier-style Ebonized and Inlaid Maple Fall-front Desk, rectangular top with canted corners over a conforming case fitted with a frieze drawer and fall-front lid enclosing an interior of six small drawers, open shelves and an arcaded area with mirrored back and parquetry inlaid "floor," all above a pair of doors enclosing an interior of two long drawers and an open compartment, on tapered block feet, ht. 58 3/4, wd. 36, dp. 16 1/2 in.
