Mettlach Etched Stoneware Charger, Germany, c. 1895, the roundel numbered 2200 and decorated with a black ground with deep rust, buff, and ivory, depicting Pan playing a flute to a maiden, inscribed artist monogram for Heinrich Schlitt, impressed factory mark, dia. 15 1/4 in.; mounted in a modern frame.
