Fourteen Royal Worcester Porcelain Candle Extinguishers, England, 19th and 20th century, including Mr. Caudle, two variations of the Cook, Monk, Nun, two variations of Granny Snow, Owl, Japanese, Diffidence, Mandarin, Confidence, Budge, and Boy, printed marks, ht. 2 1/2 to 4 5/8 in.
Provenance: Property of the Saint Louis Art Museum, sold to benefit the acquisition fund.

Mr. Caudle missing tip of cap and with shallow chip along footrim at backside. Cook with several slight nicks along footrim. Monk with flake to backside at footrim. Budge with flake at brim of hat, slight flake along backside footrim, gilt wear along footrim. Boy with top hat has two small chips to hat brim. No other evidence of any cracks, chips or restorations.
