Wedgwood Black Jasper Dip Bough Pot and Cover, England, late 18th century, square form with flat pierced disc cover, applied white relief with each side having a classical cherub depicted as a season beneath a treed arch, mounted atop a flaring and fluted base set on four raised feet, impressed mark, ht. 8 1/2 in.

Restored to top corners, side of base and to chips at feet; firing line to leg of one cherub and to each tree. Possibly some areas of retouch.
