Francois Gautier Bisque Head Doll, France, 19th century, the socket head with inset blue eyes, closed mouth, and pierced molded ears, over a composition body, impressed on head "F1G," ht. 10 in.

flakes to the underside of the forearms from small brads, small firing crack in the ear, wear to the fingertips, scuffs to base of the neck but no chips visible
