Six Satirical Illustrations: Attributed to Robert Cruikshank (British, 1789-1856),Whipping Top and Bottom, c. 1846; British School, 20th Century: The Old Colonel, Mockery, Embarassing, Her First Party and Charlady. Cruikshank unsigned, attributed and titled in an inscription on the mounting paper, attributed and dated on the window mat, the next four signed "P.W. French" l.l., Charlady unsigned. Watercolor on paper or illustration board, Old Colonel offset print, image sizes to 10 1/4 x 7 1/2 in., unframed. Condition: Soiling. mild toning, Her First Party with foxing, Cruikshank with toning, staining, affixed to a mounting paper at four corners of the reverse.
