Condition: Canvas mounted to heavy paper support, the paper glued to the window mat along the top edge of the recto.

Inscribed in pencil along the backing paper on the edges of the frame, "Painting bought in France...Art Show...1958 or 59," "Barnabè was known for no faces," and "Barnabè (artist) died in an auto accident before 1965 in France."
