Gerald Leslie Brockhurst (British, 1890-1978)

Two Portraits: The Black Cloak (Mrs. Paul Mellon), 1943-44, edition of 75, etching (Fletcher, 81); and Head of a Girl (Anais, Mélisande), alternatively titled Siena and Head of a Basque, 1944, lithograph (Fletcher, L2). Both signed and dated "...Brockhurst 1944" in pencil l.r. and signed or initialed within the matrix, both with collector's stamp from Edward A. Bigelow, Worcester, Massachusetts, to lower margin. Image sizes to 11 3/8 x 9 in. (28.7 x 22.8 cm), matted, unframed.
Condition: Subtle toning or soiling.
