Signed and dated "W.M. Hart 1853" l.c., artist identified on a presentation plaque, titled on a label affixed to the reverse.
Oil on panel, 15 1/2 x 20 in. (39.3 x 50.8 cm), framed.
Condition: Surface grime, craquelure.
Estimate $1,200-1,800

Possible unstable craquelure u.r. quadrant. No evidence of retouch under black light. No further condition issues to report.
Frame dimensions: 22 x 26 in.
