Earthenware Jar, China, Majiayao Banshan-style, spindle-shape with waisted neck and flared mouth, the bulbous shoulder rapidly curving down to form a flat base, two loop handles to belly, decorated with brushed circles and lines in red and black, ht. 11 3/4 in.
Property of a New England collector.
