Archaic Earthenware Jar, China, Banshan-style, ovoid with a bulbous shoulder narrowing down to form a small flat base, tubular neck, the everted rim with two shaped ears, two loop handles to belly, painted in black, brown, and red with brushed circles, zigzag lines, checkered lines, and rings, ht. 13 3/8 in.
