Description:

Turquoise and Cobalt Blue Kutahya Plate, Turkey, possibly 18th century, with slightly angled sides, on flat bisque base, the interior painted with a star medallion in the center encircled with patterned bands and rings, the exterior with scrolls and lines, multiple pockmarks and crackling to glaze, spur marks to the interior, ht. 2 1/2, dia. 10 1/4 in.
