Description:

Turquoise-glazed Damascus Dish, Ottoman Syria, possibly 17th century, low bowl shape with flanged rim, on a raised bisque stand, painted with dots and bold lines in underglaze black, ht. 2 7/8, dia. 10 3/8 in.

numerous chips around rim, three spur marks in the well, surface wear and tear, some soil crusts to the exterior.
