Pair of Temple Jars and Covers, China, Republic period, decorated with blooming white plum branches against a blue ground, in tiers, a meander pattern band and a ruyi lappet band below the neck below a floral spray design around the neck, a floral lappet band around base, the domed cover with flange rim and lotus bud finial, with wood stands (one damaged),ht. 23 1/4 in.

chips around foot rim, numerous glazing flaws with pockmarks from much clay impurity, one of the stands damaged (with broken pieces).
