Pewter Plate, Joseph Danforth, Middletown, Connecticut, 1780-88, beaded rim, the back with two hallmarks consisting of "JOSEPH DANFORTH" with a rampant lion between two columns, and cartouches below, (minor imperfections), dia. 7 7/8 in.

Scratch in rim, knife cuts, and denting on back of plate.
