Description:

Five Historical Blue Staffordshire Plates, England, early 19th century, a 10 1/4-in. "Pine Orchard House, Catskill Mountains" plate by Enoch Wood & Sons; a 10-in. "Lafayette at Washington's Tomb" plate by Thomas Mayer; a 9-in. "Nahant Hotel Near Boston" plate by Joseph Stubbs; an 8-in. "States Design" plate with low two-storey structure in center by James and Ralph Clews; and a 6 5/8-in. "Landing of Lafayette at Castle Garden, New York" plate by James and Ralph Clews, (imperfections).

The "Lafayette and Washington's Tomb" plate has evidence of restortation on the rim; the "Pine Orchard House" plate has knife cuts on the inner rim.
