Paint-decorated Dome-top Trunk, New England, early 19th century, the brilliant yellow box centering the fancy letters "B.F.B." within a border of meandering vine and lines in red and green, flanked by cut red flowers and on leafy stems, the front panel with red flowers and leafy stems, all sides bordered by green and red striping and green ovolo banded borders, interior lined with classical floral rosette wallpaper, (minor imperfections),ht. 13 3/4, wd. 32, dp. 16 in.
