William and Mary-style Maple Desk on Frame, Wallace Nutting, c. 1930s, the slant-lid opening to an interior of a rosette-carved prospect door flanked by compartments and two drawers, thumb-molded drawer below, on block-, vase-, and ring-turned legs joined by stretchers, natural finish, branded "Wallace Nutting," ht. 38 1/8, wd. 42 3/4, dp. 20 in.

Literature: The Wallace Nutting Final Edition furniture catalog, p. 42, plate 701, illustrates a very similar desk.
