Reverse Painting on Glass of George Washington in a Patriotic Architectural Setting, probably China, early 19th century, Washington stands on a plinth in a window through which are seen symbols of American military prowess, under an eagle with "E PLUR-- UNUM." swag and sixteen state names, the plinth on which he stands above a globe, military trophies, and flags, (crack to lower right, losses), 22 3/4 x 18 3/4 in.
