Coastal View with Vessels, Figures, and Cottages. Signed, inscribed, and dated "J.H. Sander Hamburg 1840" l.l. Gouache on paper/board, sight size 9 5/8 x 15 5/8 in., framed. Condition: Staining to u.l. and top edges, multiple fine abrasions, not examined out of frame.

Provenance: By descent to the current New Jersey estate.
