Description:

Two Austrian Silver and Enamel Figures, Vienna, mid to late 19th century, bearing maker's mark "HG," each in enamel-accented costume and shell-inset elements on a raised base featuring enameled medallions of Venus and Cupid, ht. to 5 1/2 in.
Estimate $2,000-4,000

Each with minor losses and cracks to enamel particularly to figures. Rubbed loss to enamel and very minor over-painting to faces and hands. One figure (with wide brim hat) with small chipped loss to enamel at the base, figure slightly loose (joint needs to be tightened).
