Louis XV-style Ebonized and Ormolu-mounted Table á Ecrire and an Empire-style Fauteuil, France, 20th century, the shaped, tooled leather-top surface above a frieze with a central drawer flanked by two short drawers, all supported on cabriole legs, ht. 29 3/4, wd. 48 1/2, dp. 26; the Empire-style ebonized chair with a covered leather back and seat and curved arms terminating in giltwood dolphin's heads, supported on sabre legs, ht. 37 1/4 in.
Overall some signs of wear including surface abrasions and scuffs to chair and desk, including leather on desk. Rubbing to gilding on chair, rubbing of mounts on desk.
