Charles X Amboyna Worktable, France, early 19th century, lift-top opens to reveal a mirror and several compartments for writing implements, surmounting a drawer with gilt-tooled leather writing surface flanked by compartments, all on columnar legs joined by a lower X-form stretcher, ht. 28 1/2, wd. 22 1/2, dp. 13 3/4 in.
