Nine Wedgwood and Related Black Basalt Framed Medallions, England, 18th and 19th century, a roundel portrait depiction of Lafayette, dia. 2; and eight ovals, a pair of The Marriage of Cupid and Psyche and A Sacrifice to Hymen, lg. 3; a portrait of Nelson, lg. 3 1/2; a self-framed of Sir Philip Sidney, lg. 2 5/8; a double-portrait with Roman heads, lg. 1 1/4; two with classical portraits, lg. 1 3/4; and a boy blowing a horn, lg. 5 in.; set in a modern frame.
Provenance: From the Estate of Paul Lauer.
Not examined out of frame. By sight the two with classical portrait heads have edge chips; Nelson has a chip on the back edge.
