Creamware Teapot and Cover, England, c. 1770-82, probably Staffordshire and attributed to William Greatbatch, ovoid shape with floral finial, double entwined handles and reeded spout, polychrome enameled with floral sprays flanking a mid-band of molded and gilded flowerheads and foliage, ht. 5 1/8 in.
Provenance: From the Troy Chappell Collection; ex. collection of Mr. Tom G. Walford; Jonathan Horne.

Cover: Restored rim chip and inner collar.
