White Salt-glazed Stoneware Teapot and Cover, England, c. 1740-45, probably Staffordshire, press-molded diamond form with lizard finial and intaglio pecten shells within a field of royal blue decorated birds and scrolled foliage, ht. 5 1/2 in.

Provenance: From the Troy Chappell Collection; ex. collection The Right Honorable Malcolm MacDonald; Herbert and Sylvia Jacobs.
