Description:

White Salt-glazed Stoneware Pecten Shell Teapot and cover, England, c. 1750, probably Staffordshire, press-molded ovoid body with serpent spout, double faceted loop handle, ht. 5 3/8 in.

Provenance: From the Troy Chappell Collection.
Estimate $1,400-1,800

Professionally restored handle and to one side of the body. 1/2" hairline under spout lip.
