Two Polychrome Tin-glazed Earthenware Plates, England, c. 1720-60, probably Bristol, one with foliate banded border surrounding a central floral bowl, dia. 8 5/8; and one with bianco-sopra-bianco to a scalloped rim surrounding a coastal landscape with house, figures, sailboat, and island, dia. 8 7/8 in.

Provenance: From the Troy Chappell Collection.

Floral: extensive glaze chipping and flaking to rim.
Landscape: Scattered minor edge wear and chipping along rim.
