Description:

Polychrome Decorated Tin-glazed Earthenware Plate, England, c. 1740-60, probably London, chevron and wedge banded border surrounding a wheat sheaf set with floral plants, a pheasant perched to one branch, all flanked by flying insects, dia. 8 5/8 in.

Provenance: From the Troy Chappell Collection; Ex collection Dennis J. Cockell.
