Two Tin-glazed Earthenware Chinoiserie-decorated Plates, England, c. 1760, each blue, an octagonal Liverpool plate with floral border surrounding a floral garden center, dia. 8 3/8; and a London plate with Chinaman fishing off a bank with mountains in the distance, dia. 9 1/8 in.
Provenance: From the Troy Chappell Collection.

Floral garden: Typical glaze loss surrounding edge of plate.
Chinaman fishing: Considerable rim chipping and with scattered glaze loss; light crazing throughout; rim chip repair of approximately 2".
