Description:

Tin-glazed Earthenware Capstan Salt, England, c. 1720-30, probably Bristol, blue decorated with flower interior, the exterior with running foliate border above floral sprays, ht. 2 1/2 in.

Estimate $2,500-3,500

Numerous glaze chips surrounding rim and slightly to foot. Glaze hairlines to interior rim; lightly crazed throughout.
