Cotton Painting, Kalamkari, India, 19th/20th century, depicting a row of seven female dancers facing Krishna dancing on a lotus stand behind a lotus pond, against a line of various trees, including banana, populated with birds, including peacocks, and a monkey, within a two-line border in white-painted over a plain black border, color on cotton, hemp-backed and framed, painting 22 3/4 x 66 1/4 in.
water damage to left edge, buckling, surface dirt, tears along edges, loose joints to frame.
