Jenks Carbine, c. 1843, walnut stock, brass fittings, side hammer lock marked NP. AMES/SPRINGFIELD/MASS, barrel breech marked U.S.N./JCB/P/1843, marked under the loading lever 169, with steel ramrod, barrel lg. 24 1/4, overall lg. 41 in.

Stock has a small repair near the lock, internals of the lock need a little work, never had a sling swivel, and has a ramrod.
