Model 1853 British Enfield Rifle-Musket, c. 1862, walnut stock with brass and iron fittings, marked on the lock with a crown, and 1862/TOWER, barrel has proof marks on the left breech, ramrod engraved 5621 with 3167 stamped on the toe of the butt plate, barrel lg. 39, overall lg. 55 1/2 in.

Some dings and nicks in the stock, and a crack in front of the lock up to the barrel channel, steel parts have a brown patina.
