Three Civil War-era Cartridge Boxes and a Cap Box, c. 1861-72, a Model 1855 cartridge box with lead-filled brass box plate, internal tins, marked in the back S.YOUNG/&CO./NEWARK/N.J., a Model 1855 cartridge box with lead-filled brass box plate (detached flap),and internal tins, a post Civil War cartridge box with a small NJ marked plate, and a cap box marked U.S. on the outer flap, JEWEL/HARTFORD on the inside.
