1860 Staff and Field Officer's Sword, c. late 19th century, gilt-brass hilt with eagles and foliate designs, wire- and leather-wrapped grip, marked BENT/&/BUSH./BOSTON on the ricasso, blade engraved with foliate designs, eagles, and U.S., steel scabbard with brass fittings, blade lg. 29, overall lg. 37 1/2 in.
Estimate $200-300

In good condition with most of the original gilt, some light rust on the ricasso and scabbard.
