Tunbridgeware Gaming Table, England, late 19th century, the rectangular folding checkerboard top pivots and opens to reveal a gilt-tooled felt playing surface and cribbage boards, and is further hinged to reveal a compartmented purple silk-lined interior, all on a trapezoidal plinth, turned post, and four carved shaped legs, the table decorated throughout with intricate patterned veneer work, ht. 30 1/2, wd. 21 1/2, dp. 16 in.
